No Fear

Psalms 112:1;7-8 (NASB)
1 Praise the Lord!
How blessed is the man who fears the Lord,
Who greatly delights in His commandments.
7 He will not fear evil tidings;
His heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord.
8 His heart is upheld, he will not fear,
Until he looks with satisfaction on his adversaries.

In times of challenge, it is easy to worry and even fear the future. Yet God is our refuge. We focus on a virus and vaccine when our attention needs to be on Jesus. Listen only to the Holy Spirit who whispers comfort. Center our thoughts on the many promises of God, the Father.

Heavenly Father, forgive me for thinking about things other than You. Redirect my thoughts. Redirect my actions. Divert my gaze from the evil in this world. Place me on a path that walks steadfastly with You. Help me to accept the peace of your Spirit. Keep my eyes on Jesus. In His name I pray. Amen.

Always praying for the glory of God.
