Jude 20,21 (NASB)
But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.
Whenever we are in prayer, we are in the presence of the most Holy Triune God. The three persons of the Godhead are always there. The Father, His ear open to our words and feelings. The Son, interceding for us with the Father. The Holy Spirit whispering words of encouragement and bringing thoughts to the surface for us to speak. There can be no true prayer without all three. If we attempt to pray without even one of them, it is not true prayer. Always pray to the Father, in the name of Jesus, and by His Spirit.
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, let my praise, repentance, adoration, and supplications be a sweet aroma to You. I pray that You would be glorified in all that I do and say. Your glory is my true enjoyment. Amen.
Always praying for the glory of God,
Sweet prayer, what a joy!
